Jane will guide you through the planning of your wedding right from the beginning. She will listen to ideas, make suggestions, and do everything to give you the day you want. There are five main stages to the process.
One. The Initial Enquiry
All you need to do is make contact with Jane and the process is underway. Tell her about your favourite foods and how you envisage your day and she will send you all the relevant menus and information.
Two. The Quote
Once you have established a venue, a provisional menu and approximate timings, Jane can draft a quote. Jane is very straightforward about costs – her menus are bespoke (though package menus are available too if requested) so the cost will be the cost of the food and a chef for the day. All the other expenses are dependent on the venue, and the style of your food – for example, you need more staff for a sit down meal than you do for a buffet, some venues have a kitchen, some will need a temporary kitchen brought in. Staff and tableware hire are always charged at cost price.
Three. Meeting and Tasting
If you are happy with Jane’s outline quote, she will arrange a meeting which may be combined with a tasting. This is where you iron out all the details of the day. Jane is like a pocket wedding planner – she works through your whole day from set-up to send-off- with every tiny detail considered.
If you change your mind or wake up in the night wishing you had done things differently, Jane is very flexible. She can make changes up to a week before.
Five. The Big Day
Don’t forget, this is your day and Prickly Pear is there to make sure you enjoy it. Jane’s smiley staff will work tirelessly and unobtrusively to ensure the jigsaw fits together perfectly. Your guests will only notice the big picture – and you!
